⁸ O ^(A)Hope of Israel,
Its ^(B)Savior in ^(C)time of distress,
Why are You like a sojourner in the land
Or like a traveler who has pitched his tent to lodge for the night?
⁹ Why are You like a man confused,
Like a mighty man who ^(D)cannot save?
Yet ^(E)You are in our midst, O Yahweh,
And we are ^(F)called by Your name;
Do not leave us!”
